Ambassador Zellerbach’s vision is essentially unaltered since inception 50 plus years ago; Hanzell was conceived to make Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to the standards of Grand Cru Burgundy and that is exactly what it continues to do today. My goal is to draw upon the winery's past to anchor a vibrant future.”

Mrs. Arnold Sessions has served the wine industry since 1979 with executive positions at Chateau Montelena, Jordan, Chalk Hill, Williams & Selyem, and Jackson Family Farms. In 2001 Mrs. Arnold Sessions became president of Hanzell Vineyards. She also married Winemaker Emeritus Bob Sessions.
